Weekly Classes

Please join in as the Skyline family dives into the amazing riches of the Book of Hebrews this Fall. No passage of scripture puts a more focused light on Jesus as the Messiah than this letter. God spoke to us in these last days by his son Jesus. He is our perfect high priest, at the right hand of God, who gives us confident access to the Throne. We are to fix our eyes solely on Him as we run this race. He, alone, is the same yesterday, today, and forever; working in us is what brings God pleasure.
He is our King - let us grow up to fullness in Him together!

Foreshadowing the True Messiah

Sunday's at 9 AM - In the CAC & the Auditorium
Jesus asked His disciples “Who do people say that I am?” Some said Elijah, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets, BUT His disciples said he was the Messiah. Why did so many people confuse Jesus with Old Testament figures or not see Jesus for who He truly is? The answer is that the Old Testament points to Jesus but does not completely reveal Him. The Jews viewed the Messiah through the lens of multiple Old Testament figures who foreshadow Christ by providing an incomplete idea of what the Messiah looks like. This study will examine Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Elijah, David, and Josiah who point to the ultimate Messiah, connecting their lives with Jesus’ life and ministry. Their stories will help us understand how we can better magnify His kingdom.
