Skyline’s Response To The Coronavirus

Skyline Family,

This email is a little lengthy, but we wanted everyone to know exactly what is going on and the decisions we’ve reached, based on the information we have. The following is what you need to know moving forward. Keep in mind that we will continue to monitor and adjust as necessary.
All Skyline activities will be suspended effective immediately through April 1. Leadership is asking everyone to comply with the CDC’s recommendations for group gatherings. The current recommendation is to avoid group gatherings of more than 10 people. Leadership will continue to monitor the situation, and will meet again on April 1 to determine where we are and what our next step should be.
We will begin streaming Sunday morning services at 10AM starting this Sunday (March 22) via FaceBook Live. We will continue to stream Sunday AM services at 10AM as long as necessary. We are using a minimal number of individuals to put this together. If you have questions on how to watch, please contact Eric via email ( or text or phone call (281-750-9251).
Josh, Alison and Cory are hosting a devotional video on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week moving forward. You can look for that video on FaceBook and Vimeo.
Many of you have asked about giving. Since we will not be meeting together and passing plates, we are encouraging folks to give online via the following link:

OR, you may want to continue to mail a check to the church office:

      1024 Skyline Drive
      Jackson, TN 38301
OR, there is another way to give online that will be really easy once you get it downloaded and set up. We now have an app. Instructions for downloading the app are as follows:
Download CHURCH by MinistryOne in the app store.
Search for and select Skyline.
Set up your profile and begin using the app.
Also, if your family would like to make your own communion bread to use as we observe the Lord’s Supper on Sundays, a .pdf is available below for you to print.  And, if you would like to bake extra bread and bring it by the office, we can use it to give to our older or homebound members. Please call the office first before coming by.
During this time, we are encouraging everyone to be smart and safe and stay informed on what’s going on with the pandemic. Every decision leadership makes will take into account the recommendations we have available and will be made in the best interest of the Family here at Skyline. We love you. We can’t wait until this is over and we’re all back together. Until then, we will keep you posted. And if you need ANYTHING, please call the office at 731-668-5185 and let us help you. We love you, Skyline Family.
Eric Petty, Lead Minister
