JACKSON AREA MISSIONS OUTREACH
Skyline has always been involved in community outreach programs throughout Jackson. Whether feeding the hungry, providing shelter for the homeless, or being a mentor for at-risk children, we encourage our members to look beyond their own lives and to live out their faith on behalf of others – in Jackson and beyond.
We believe in caring for the whole person – physically, emotionally and spiritually. To that end, we view our programs as ministries and our outcomes as souls. The following community outreach ministries are ones that we believe God has led us to be involved with:
- RIFA Soup Kitchen
- Area Relief Ministry’s ‘Room in the Inn’
- Skyline After-School Mentoring
- Birthchoice
- Youth Town
- Women’s Care Center
- Treats for JMCGH – ICU Waiting Room
- The Cancer Care Center of Jackson
- Team Read (in conjunction with JM County School System)
- Skyline Summer Camp
- Women of Hope
Skyline is always looking for more ways to serve our community. If you would like to serve in any capacity, or if you would like more information, please contact our Community Outreach Minister, Josh Walden.
