Equipping families for their discipleship journey
Our ministry exists to assist parents in their God-given responsibility of discipling their children. Understanding that teenagers are at a unique time in their overall development, we attempt to come alongside parents and equip them for this incredible journey. We also come alongside teens, seeking to provide a place where they can experience God in relevant and meaningful ways, and an atmosphere where they can be themselves and be accepted unconditionally.
Strategy
- Faith@Home: Our emphasis on the importance of the home being the primary place through which children are made followers of Christ.
- 6th-12th Grade Ministry: Providing Christ-like examples for teens and assisting their parents in the discipleship process. This is accomplished through education, leadership development, relationship-building, service to others, and regular times of fellowship.
- Multiracial Ministry: Working with teens that come out of our Mentoring Program. Families connect with an urban student, seeking to build a discipleship relationship through their adolescent years.
Goal:
Moving from program-dependent activity to multigenerational discipleship.

G-LIFE (God Life)
The God Life is a ministry for 6th-8th grade students that meets three Wednesdays a month from 6:45-8:00 PM at the Walden's house, which is located across the parking lot from the Oasis. G-LIFE grew out of our Mentoring Ministry, allowing us to continue our relationship with our urban friends who entered 6th grade. G-LIFE students enjoy a food, fun and a message. The emphasis of G-LIFE is making disciples of our students through meaningful relationships. Come check out G-LIFE to see if God can use you by investing in a student's life.
