Sunday Classes
Adult Bible Classes:

"The Gospel of Mark"

Marks' Gospel is a fast paced, action oriented account of Jesus' life. Jesus is constantly on the move, healing, confronting, and instructing. And through Mark's account we get a glimpse of who God is and what God expects. This Gospel reveals the suffering servant in a compelling way that continues to change lives today. Join us as we allow God's word to come to life in our class.
"Old Testament: The Big Picture!"
Teacher: Sean Evans Room CAC
When you spend most of your time staring at small details, it can be easy to lose sight of the big picture. The First Testament is a broad and diverse collection of writings, that when assembled communicate the story of one God and his relationship with all of creation. This class is designed to offer a bird's eye view of the First Testament story.
"Spiritual Disciplines"
Teacher: Tommy McDonald Room 112
A relationship is not a relationship if it doesn't include interaction. This is a class constructed around our need to interact with our Creator. Spiritual disciplines (prayer, study, silence, etc.) are intended to be a vital part of every believer's life. We will be exploring and discussing these God ordained prractices in very practical ways that will enhance your walk with God.
College Bible Class:

There will be no college class on Sunday mornings, but each student is encouraged to meet with one of our other classes offered.

*We are trying to take necessary precautions to protect our children while they are away from their parents. There will be a sign in/out sheet in each classroom. Please sign your child in/ out each time they come to class. Also, students will not be allowed to leave the classroom unless a PARENT or responsible adult is there to pick them up. This is for all children through 5th grade.
Teen Classes

Sundays provide textual studies for our teens, while Wednesday nights focus on topics, worship & service. On Sundays our youth are divided into high school and middle school classes, each with different teachers.
NOTE: Every fourth Sunday our teens will visit Jackson Meadow for fellowhsip and worship with the residents.Middle School (6th - 8th grades)

A seven-week study of various world faiths and how they compare to Christianity.

"The Role of the Mature Christian"
Teacher: Jim Pentecost Room 114
A biblical and frank discussion regarding the role of the mature Christian to older and younger members of the church. This discussion and class will also include practical advice as to the care for mature members of the Chruch and available services for all family situations.
"Facing Your Giants"
Teacher: Mike Philpot Room CAC
A study of David and how we can be "giant slayers' too. A time for study, sharing, and most importantly, prayer. This class will be using Max Lucado's book by the same title, along with othe resources.
Financial Peace (starts Jan. 18, contd.)
Teacher: Brett Beckham Room 216
We will be offering Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University starting January 18th. This is a Wednesday night class and we will meet every Wednesday night until April 18th. Class will begin each week at 6:00 PM and finish at 8:00 PM. We have to pre-order materials so please let Brett Beckham know no later than January 2nd. The cost for the class is $60.00. Praise and Worship with the Praise Team
Leader: Blake Beckham Worship Center
This is a special time for the praise team and others who join them to worship and grow together. It is more than practicing music, but a time for that as well. Most weeks include a devotional and a significant amount time that is spent in praise.
College Class:

"Free From Distraction"
Setting aside a specific time and place, each week we will seek a closer relationship to God by spending an hour in learning and practicin spiritual disciplines. This is not so much a class as an experience.

Teen Classes

Our Wednesday night classes are geared to help all of our teens become more motivated in a closer walk with God, become closer with each other, and establish relationships as they encourage each other and are encouraged during this time together.
1st and 3rd Wednesday
- G-Life - For 6th - 8th grade students. Meets from 6:45 - 8:00 p.m. at Josh & Kindall Walden's home (on church property).
- High School - For 9th - 12th grade students. Meets in the Oasis from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
2nd Wednesday
- Go Night - For all teens. Meets in the Oasis at 7:00 p.m. and then goes into the community to share the love of Christ in various ways.
4th Wednesday
- Candlelight - For all teens. Meets in the Oasis from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. for a time of worship.
