Church Family Events & Updates

Those who attend Skyline are Family.  We serve God together, rejoice in each other, love on each other, and mostly pray for each other.
There are always events going on at Skyline that, as a family, we can do together.  On this page upcoming events and updates are listed along with links for signups if needed.

Clothing Room:  Please remember the clothing room has been closed and we are no longer accepting clothing.
Skyline Summer Camp:  Applications are now available for Skyline’s Summer Camp.  This is for all children leaving 1st grade and leaving 5th grade.  Cost is $60 per child and $25 for each additional child.  The camp meets each Tuesday and Thursday throughtout the summer.  Contact Josh Walden or the church office if you need an applicatiion.
April 22 – 28 Events:
  • A baby twin girls shower for Melissa and Stephen Shavers (Darlene Millson’s daughter) will be held on Sunday, April 28 from 2 to 4 pm at the home of Diane Kelley, 221 Emerald Lake, Jackson.  They are registered at Target (online) and Amazon.
MAY 5 – Church Outside The Walls  
Sign up for all the projects are available online or on the large forms in the church lobby.  More detailed information is availabe in online by clicking here.
There are several needs for COTW!  Below is a list of those:
  • Volunteers:  We need lots of volunteers in order for this day to be successful.  You can signup online by going to or by writing your name on the large forms hanging in the church lobby.
  • Veterans Home:  Needed are lots of kids to participate.  The kids will be leading the church service at the Veteran’s Home that morning.  They need kids who can sing, read scripture, pray, and visit with the veterans.  Also, cookies, snacks, etc., to take to the residents.  Contact Stefanie Gatlin here if you have any questions, or your child can help!
  • Sole Hope:  Old Blue Jeans (jeans that are ragged, ready to toss, or jeans you no longer want or can wear).  Just bring them to church or if you had rather, go to one of the thrift store and purchase some to be used.  These will be cut up into shoe patters to be sent off to Sole Hope to be made into shoes for underdeveloped countries.  Check out their website for information:
