Church Family Events & Updates

Those who attend Skyline are Family.  We serve God together, rejoice in each other, love on each other, and mostly pray for each other.
There are always events going on at Skyline that, as a family, we can do together.  On this page upcoming events and updates are listed along with links for signups if needed.
Online Ministries Listing:  We encourage each member to complete this survey and sign up for the various ministries Skyline has to offer.  Click Here for Ministries Survey!
If you would like more information about Skyline’s events or links, contact the church office at 731-668-5185, ask on Sunday at the Welcome Center, or email Ava Storie.

  • Soup Kitchen:  Skyline is responsible for serving at Soup Kitchen on the 3rd Monday night of each month.  We need people to sign up to help for August, September, October, and November.  If you would like to help, please sign up at the Members’ Corner or email Lora Blankenship at
  • Fall Wednesday Night Classes:  On Sept. 4 new Wednesday night classes will be offered for Fall Quarter.  In order to make sure we have enough participation in these Wednesday night classes, we are asking everyone to sign up. (Click Here To Register!) The information on the fall classes are:
    • CAC:  Charles Taylor will be leading a class called ‘Grafted.’  This will be a class on Jewish History and its connection to our roots.
    • Room 109:  ‘Experiencing God’ by Henry Blackaby will be taught by John and Angie Ramaker.  This class will help you get to know God more intimately while encouraging you to step out on faith.
    • Room 114:  Scott Owens will be teaching a class by James Bryan Smith titled, ’The Good & Beautiful Life: Putting On The Character of Christ’.  It is based on the Sermon on the Mount and will help guide us to look behind character flaws and replace them with Jesus’ narratives about life in the Kingdom of God.

Please sign up by clicking the sign up link above.

  • Meal Plans:  We have three meal plans in place for families in our congregation.  They are:
